ALi has a
singular voice. The kind of voice you can recognize right away, that gives you
goosebumps all over your body and makes you craving for more. That’s at least
the emotions she gives me every times she sings.

Not really sure why I’m so excited about Pinocchio. Alright maybe it’s because I hear your voice’ was among
my crushes of 2013; maybe because Lee
Bo-Young’s character in it, Jang Hye Sung,
became one of my ultimate reference in the list of my favourite female leads; maybe
because I kind of trust the screenwriter; maybe because it’s time for me to
have another dose of Lee Jung-Seok. Those are a lot of reasons for someone who didn’t
seem to have any in the first place. I admit it.

My radar just detected a new promising talent. Oh yeah! Well he probably couldn’t be that new to some of you but he turned out to be a good surprise to me: Yoo Seung Woo. He released his 1st eponym album few days ago and I just like it. I also just can’t believe that he’s only 17! He’s a kid for God’s sake. Talent does not depend upon age I suppose. Is that even how you say it? However.

Here’s a new category full of…observations! High five to me to have come
with a stupid introduction like this one. But I’m a bit tired so that’s my mind could have found.
You can’t call yourself a dramas’ fan without having general comments or
observations. I mean, surely there must some things that make you react (in a
good or bad way). I refuse to believe that you’re emotionless. Wait! Damn
dramas are full of people like that so maybe, somehow you could also be
emotionless and…noooo. No way!
I will write about some of my own observations here. Feel free to share

Secret Door’s premiere is today! Who’s excited? I’m excited! Like a lot! I was waiting to be today since the announce of the drama. Ok I was actually freaking excited the precise moment Han Suk Kyu and Lee Je Hoon were officially attached to the project.

Korean artists don’t usually send me emails or reminders to say: “Hey there, I or we just released new stuff. Make sure to listen to it. (funny wink). End of the message” This isn’t Walt Disney and there’s no way I don’t have to do all the searching by myself. It’s during one of these afternoons of researches that I listen for the first time to Son Seung Yeon’s I’m Not Crazy (Feat. MC Sniper). I found the song among a dozen of others I was busy discovering. I liked it right away admit the song became inevitable in my kpop playlist on my ipod.

I like dogs and I appreciate even more dogs that are around Rain! The whole package is like an
early Christmas present! Oh yes Santa I’ve been nice and kind.
What a rollercoaster! Heartless
City (also translated Cruel City) made my temperature gone crazy. How can I
describe that drama? Just by saying the title I feel tensions all around me. I’m
ready to move to the side to avoid a punch in the face coming from an unknown
enemy. Yes that’s how far the drama took me! But I avoided being punched in the face so many times that I ended up
being hit in the heart. Deeply hit. So hard, that it’s still bleeding. Can
someone please take me to the hospital? I’m feeling bad but I like it. Doctor
is it contagious?

It’s a kitchen and of course as the chef I concoct menus. At least I try
to make look like appetizing ones!
Here’s
the first menu and it’s frankly not an exciting one. But you can’t always have
hits on menus I guess.
No matter what Kpop or Korean music scene in general could bring, there will always be a special place in my heart (and on my personal scale of talents) for Younha. She was among the first artists I liked when my ‘South Korea’ mania started. It’s easy for me to emphasis her talent because she’s absurdly talented. Her voice is powerful and always right, you know never too much or too crying or too something else. It’s just an enjoyment for the ears. Ok I stop here!

Because sometimes I can get really bored and because I
just wanted to share another aspect of my infernal addiction, I made that
splendid list of the Korean dramas I’ve completed so far.
Because being ironic is thousand times better than
being conventional, I tried to bring an original touch to it. And God knows how
being creative isn’t a joke. Try to master a mind going in every possible ways,
its worst than trying to squeeze into a pair of jean two sizes small, a real
torture. But in the end, the result worth all the suffering.
I can’t take all the credit for this cause that
amusing idea isn’t totally coming from my brilliant mind. I got inspired by
some unnis (Dramabeans - Year in Review.
Their Santa’s reviews always crack me up. Total out loud moments!).
I’ll
of course keep the list up to date and will avoid spoilers as much as possible.
But I’m a human full of flaws, so sorry in advance if I happen to say too much.

I’ve started to watch Let’s Eat few days ago. Do I dare to say that I’m eating every word of that drama? You’re shaking your heads. I suppose that means no, the pen on words is too lousy. Got it.

I just finished the movie and yes I enjoyed it. Let’s speak bluntly the movie was incredibly good. As I said before (if you missed it I will kindly repeat it), I’m not a review girl. I like to read movies and dramas reviews but don’t ask me to do one. It’s too much work and I gladly confess that I’m a bit lazy. All my respect to the recappers and reviewers around the world, I know it’s not an easy thing guys!
