Even if you're not that intrigued by the premise, the gorgeous posters only can make you curious. The guys behind did an awesomejob (frankly better than the average).
Here's what Yong-pal will be all about:
Kim Tae-hyun (Joo Won) is a talented surgeon.
Desperate for money to pay his sister's medical bills, he adopts the code name
Yong-pal and offers his medical skills to those in need of medical attention
but who cannot do so publicly. He’s dealing with gangsters and corrupt tycoons,
as long as he’s paid. It is while making such a house call that Kim Tae-hyun rescues
the "sleeping beauty" Han Yeo-jin (Kim Tae-Hee) a chaebol heiress. Han Yeo-jin’s rescue will lead into
unintended consequences. (Source)
I do have a lot of questions
about Yong-pal (most should logically
be answered if the screenwriter does an great job which I really hope), but one
question keep coming into my crazy mind: is Joo Won going to be has hot as he
was in Gaksital? That’s the kind of fan’s questions you can’t hardly fight! Nope,
don’t even try to, it’s useless. I promise.
All my fingers and toes are
crossed for Yong-pal to be powerful,
to deliver a strong story, coherent developments and solid characters. There’s
absolutely (absolutely) not connexion between Yong-pal and Gaksital, but I want
Joo Won to be as intense in Yong-pal as he was in Gaksital. Actually if he can has
even half of his Gaksital’s intensity, I’ll be happy!
My expectations are high.
C’mon with trailers as fast and passionate as those we saw, it can’t goes any
other way. I’m not going to lie saying I have high hopes for the rest of the
cast. I mean I like Kim Tae-Hee, she’s beautiful and all, but those
considerations never turned someone into an actress I’m dying to see in
anything over one night. Let’s say I just want to see convincing performances. If
Yong-pal answers my prayers it can only be an awesome drama! Fingers crossed
fellows.
