My little fan’s heart has
jumped 100 times already. It’s crazy. I mean he just (just) got discharged from
the army but then that means so many things at once:
1. He can participate in an
episode or two or even more of Running
Man. People are waiting for this like to happen for two long years. I’m
personally as excited at the idea as I was when I got graduate! So make it
happen fast Song Joon-ki. You should give your millions fans out there that
immense pleasure!
2. We’ll see him soon in a
new drama, Descendants Of The Sun. I
can’t honestly say the drama is making me jump of excitement. First of all, I’m
not sure about the female lead, Song
Hye-kyo. Ok scratch that. What I meant is she’s a talented actress (her performance
in That Winter The Wind Blows was
amazing), but I’m not sold about the pairing. There’s something odd about those
two together.
He’ll play the captain Yoo Shi-jin, a UN peacekeeper who’ll fall for
the doctor Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hye-kyo) while affected in mission. Their
onscreen alchemy will maybe prove me wrong (which I hope) but for the moment
I’m sceptical. On the other hand, I want to trust the screenwriter, Kim Eun-sook but her last drama, The Heirs, was basically a compilation
of pretty (pretty) faces with nothing else. The story, the development were
practically inexistent. I don’t want to see Song Joong-ki wasted in his first
post-army project! Fingers crossed.
3. He can do a looooot of
variety shows. He should really give his millions fans out there that immense
pleasure! I think I’ve already said that. Excitement can sometimes be an
incontrollable beast.
